This post will provide the blueprint to living life more abundantly on purpose. Wellness as defined by dictionary.com is the state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal. A state of being can be said to be a person's mindset. Where as state of being and one's mindset are based on one's life choices, would you agree?
Rather or not you agree does not alter the facts of wellness having multiple parts. My favorite part of wellness defined is, as an actively pursued goal. Now, combined what we have is a persons undisclosed healthy state of being that's actively pursed as a goal.
For example, a person raised in an unworthy environment, unhealthy, and goal oriented to a survival lifestyle may have never experienced wellness. Therfore their definition of good health as an actively pursued goal maybe surviving to the next accomplished goal. Leading to an endless cycle of never being enough.
Abraham's Maslow's hierarchy of needs is a model for understanding the motivations for human behavior. These include physiological needs, safety, love and belonging, esteem, and self-actualization. As a psychologist, this would be the ingredients for a quality lifestyle.
However, I am a political scientist who believes the systems of life sets the state of being in people. Government, economy, geographical location, religion and community experiences alters a person's state of being and their actively pursued goals. Ultimately shaping their definition of wellness and their end goal in life.
Work work work....
Although a life of work may seem to be enough for some, others may believe a life of fame is the end goal...
Back to living life more abundantly on purpose as may or may not be defined as wellness or the pursuit of happiness...
Then how does one determine Enough is Enough?
To be continued...
By putting an end to a goal oriented life, that's how one determines Enough is Enough. John 10:10 is a model for understanding life choices. To live more abundantly, is to live a life free from what the enemy plans for you and live the life God plans for you.
